Ambulances carrying patients and urgently need fuel don’t need to wait in line to buy fuel and they will be given priority at all their petrol stations across Myanmar, the New Day Energy officially announced.

The announcement has been praised among the public and comments on social media say it is respectful as it is made for the good of the majority.

Ambulances have been given priority at most of petrol stations without needing to queue, according to local social welfare associations.

“We are glad to know ambulances have been prioritized. During this difficult time, we don’t have enough budget to buy from unofficial sellers. It is assumed that petrol stations express their gratitude to ambulances. And we also thank too,” said a spokesperson from Myanmar all-purpose social organization.

Waiting vehicles in the queue move back when ambulances arrive and give way, he added. MT/ZS
