Fuel prices fall again on 17 September

The price of 92 Ron motor fuel dropped to K2,180 per litre on 17 September, according to reference retail prices issued by the Fuel Oil Import, Storage and Distribution Supervisory Committee.
Due to the government’s measures to reduce the price of fuel, domestic fuel prices are heading towards the downside.
According to the fuel reference prices released yesterday, the retail price of fuel in the Yangon Region is K2,180 for 92 Ron per litre, K2,270 per litre of 95 Ron and HSD (500 ppm) is set to trade at K2,580 per litre.
HSD (50 ppm) and HSD (10 ppm) are also set to be traded at K2,665 per litre by the Fuel Oil Import, Storage and Distribution Supervision Committee.
Also, in Bago, the price of 97 Ron per litre dropped to K2,185.
In Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Magway, Dawei, Monywa, Pathein, Hpa-An, Mawlamyine, Lashio, Taunggyi, and Loikaw the price of 92 Ron per litre has dropped back to more than K2,200.
It is reported that fuel prices have dropped to over K2,400 in Haka, over K2,300 in Myitkyina and Sittway and over K3,100 in Kengtung.
The wholesale price of motor oil recommended by the Fuel Oil Import, Storage, Distribution and Refining Supervision Committee in the Yangon Region is K2,075 for 92 Ron per litre, 95 Ron is K2,161 per litre, while HSD (500 ppm) is K2,469 per litre, and HSD (50 ppm) and HSD (10 ppm) are set at K2,550 per litre.
These prices are calculated based on the “MOPS” price by the Motor Fuel Import, Storage and Distribution Supervisory Committee, and if the motor fuel buyers are not satisfied, they can contact the committee and complain. — TWA/GNLM
