Gold robe offerings begin at Bagan’s Shwezigon

The offering of gold plate to the entire Shwezigon Pagoda in the Bagan Ancient Cultural Heritage Zone, NyaungU Township, began in October 2023.
Well-wishers can contribute by donating K1.2 million for one gold plate, K150,000 for a packet of two-square-inch gold foils, or K15,000 for a packet of 10 gold foils. — TWA/MKKS
