Great Indian Travel Bazaar invites Myanmar businesspeople

The Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB), which is scheduled to be held on 5-7 May in Jaipur, Rajasthan, cordially invited Myanmar businesspeople with a view to promoting tourism in the state, according to the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization.
Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan State, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) jointly organized the GITB, supported by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA) and Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO).
The GITB has been held since 2008, creating a platform to bring together over 280 tour operators from more than 50 countries, domestic tour agencies, hotels and Indian businesses at one place. It is the 13th edition of the GITB in 2024.
The Department of Tourism, Government of India and FICCI will select external tour operators as hosted buyers to attend the 14th GITB that will be held at the end of April or May 2025.
The invitees will cover flight tickets, three-night stay accommodation and a bus shuttle from the hotel to the event. There will be a plan to connect them with Indian tour operators during the events.
