Guangdong Province to host China-ASEAN Forum on Emerging Industry

A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than left for the People’s Republic of China by air yesterday to attend China-ASEAN Forum on Emerging Industry in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, hosted by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China on 4 and 5 July.
In the forum, issues related to new energy-fired vehicles, digital economy and electronic energy will be discussed under the theme “Openness, Inclusiveness, Coordination and Sharing for Greater Practical Cooperation in Emerging Industries”.
By attending the forum, China and ASEAN member countries will have a chance to promote cooperation among industrial enterprises and exchange ideas.
Officials from People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China and officials from ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN member countries, business organizations, industrial experts and researchers will join the forum. — MNA/KZW
