Gym fitness centre set up for civil service staff in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory

The Ministry of Health and Sports has opened a free gym fitness centre for the civil service staff at Wunna Theikdi Indoor Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw.
Union Minister Dr Myint Htwe inspected the centre, equipped with 26 kinds of sports equipment, in the building with 60-ft width and 120-ft length.
The cost of the building was about K624.5 million, and the equipment about K175.7 million.
He looked around the equipment conducted by Director General of the Department of Sports and Physical Education U Myo Hlaing.
The Union Minister gave advice on good ventilation, systematic registration of civil service staff, opening hours and supplies of additional sports equipment based on the number of visitors to the centre.
He also inspected a restaurant for the visitors who will come to the gym which will start functioning on 16 October.
