Handover ceremony of humanitarian aid and relief items donated by Thailand to those affected by Mocha in Myanmar held

The picture shows the arrival of humanitarian aid and relief items donated by the Thai King and Queen, Thai Government, Thai-Myanmar Friendship Association, Thai associations and Thai private sectors.

Two C-130 Royal Thai Airforce Aircraft carrying emergency aids and relief items including shelter tents and tarpaulin sheets, portable solar cell lamps, survival bags, impregnated mosquito nets, canned fish and instant noodles donated by King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, the Royal Thai Government, Thai Red Cross Society, Thai–Myanmar Association for Friendship, Thai private sector and the People of Thailand for those affected by Cyclone Mocha in Myanmar, landed at the Yangon Airport on 23 May.
The emergency aid and relief items were handed over by Mr Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar to U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs. The handover ceremony was attended by U Aung Win Thein, Minister of Social Affairs of the Yangon Region government, responsible officials from the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Around 20 tonnes of humanitarian assistance donated by the King and Queen of Thailand as well as various sectors from Thailand will be reportedly distributed to those affected by Cyclone Mocha.— MNA
