Health department officials and doctors recently gave talks on prevention of dengue haemorrhagic fever to residents of Pyaewa village in Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region.
With the assistance of local authorities, the health officers and staff sprayed houses and cleaned water tanks.
“If we find suspected patients, we spray their house and a 100-metre surrounding area,” an official said.
The medical team led by Head of Township Public Health Department Dr Soe Soe Naing and Dr Than Naing Soe spoke to more than 300 residents of the village.
