High-scoring students of 2023 matric exam allowed applications to medical, dental universities

Aspiring students who have excelled in the 2023 matriculation exam now have the opportunity to apply for admission to medical universities, dental medicine universities, and medical-related universities. According to a recent report, the Department of Human Resources for Health under the Ministry of Health has invited applications for these competitive institutions.
Candidates who have achieved outstanding scores on matriculation exam are eligible to seek admission to medical universities, dental medicine universities, and specialized medical-related universities. These institutions are under the purview of the Ministry of Health’s Department of Human Resources for Health.
Additionally, those who are priority applicants for pharmacy universities, medical technology universities, nursing universities, and community health universities are required to submit their application envelopes to the 26 designated universities overseen by the Ministry of Education.
For applicants who are the top-priority candidates for admission to Universities of Medicine and Universities of Dental Medicine, the application envelopes should be directly sent to the Human Resources for Health Department in Nay Pyi Taw, as well as the University of Medicine 1 and the University of Medicine 2 in Yangon, the same university in Mandalay and Magway, the University of Medicine in Taunggyi, the University of Dental Medicine in Yangon, and the University of Dental Medicine in Mandalay. The university admission application envelopes will be accepted from 25 August to 10 September, including weekends and public holidays, providing ample time for submissions. — TWA/MKKS
