Hnin Si Yin Kwin Foundation donates cash, foodstuffs for disaster-hit people

Hnin Si Yin Kwin Foundation donated cash and foodstuffs for disaster-hit people at the office of the Disaster Management Department in Yangon yesterday.
At the event, Director Maung Myo Min (Yin Twin Pyit) of the Hnin Si Yin Kwin Foundation first explained about their donation.
Afterwards, National Disaster Management Committee (NDMC) Vice Chairman Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Win Myat Aye accepted the cash K 50 million and the foodstuffs worth over K 9.8 million donated by the foundation, and presented them with certificates of honour.
Speaking at the event, Union Minister Dr Win Myat Aye said that the budgets allocated by the government and the funds donated by people are systematically used after adding into the fund of National Disaster Management Committee.
To conduct restoration processes quickly, the coordinating committee on rehabilitation of disaster-hit regions has been formed, the Union Minister added.
