Hooded Treepie Postage Stamp to be launched

Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will sell a new postage stamp worth K200 at 9:30 am on 23 November. A bird called Hooded Treepie (Crypsirina cucullata) is depicted on the stamp. The bird is endemic to Myanmar, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
The new postage stamp will be sold at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay and other post offices in regions and states.
As a special programme, postage stamps purchased at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw and General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay on 23 November, will have the date sealed on them. — MNA
