Horse ride at Kanbawzathadi Palace

The officials prepare horses at the well-known Kanbawzathadi Palace in the Bago Region horseback riding activity in the palace compound for fun at K3,000 and the visitors can posed for photos with the horses.
“The horse riding will start from the dining building to the palace at the side of the museum. It will cost K6,000 if the people have a joy ride on the horseback around the Myaynanpyatike (backyard of the palace),” said a horse handler.
The visitors can ride the horses on religious significant days and weekends. They can ride bicycles in the palace compound and take commemorative photos.
The palace area is also crowded with couples who take pre-wedding photos and people celebrating birthdays daily.
The Kanbawzathadi palace is open to the public daily from 9 am to 5 pm. — Maung Yin Oo/GNLM
