AN Ear Surgery Mobile Unit, jointly operated by the Rajavithi Hospital and the Rural Ear Nose Throat Foundation under Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, will offer free medical services from 8 to 10 July at the Hpa-an General Hospital in Hpa-an Township of Kayin State.
At the launch of the mobile unit, U Than Naing, the Minister of Planning, Finance, and Development Affairs for Kayin State, said that he was proud of the venture and grateful to the Thai Ambassador to Myanmar and members of healthcare groups involved in the Ear Surgery Mobile Unit, who will offer free services in the rural regions of Kayin State.
Afterwards, U Saw Chit Khin, the Speaker of the Kayin State Hluttaw, presented gifts to Thailand’s Ambassador to Myanmar, and U Bo Bo Wai Maung, the Minister of Social Affairs for Kayin State, gave presents to the leader of the team of ear specialists.
The ear specialists will be available from 8 to 10 July from 9 am at the Hpa-an General Hospital, and surgeries and services will be offered at the hospital free of charge.
