IDPs in Pauktaw receive 2nd dose vaccines of COVID-19

Second dose of vaccination is underway in Pauktaw, Rakhine State.

Healthcare officials gave the second dose of Sinovac vaccines to people from three separate IDP camps at a monastery in Saitouk Village-tract, Pauktaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday.
The vaccination programme was also assisted by Township General Administration Department staff and village volunteers.
Before the vaccination, healthcare staff and officials made records for the vaccinated people.
Next, volunteers and healthcare workers measured the body temperature, blood pressure and oxygen level before the vaccination.
Under the supervision of Dr Ko Ko Aung, head of Township Public Health Department, vaccines were given systematically to the local people, and only those with normal conditions are vaccinated by health staff.
The COVID-19 vaccines were given to 49 men and women from Saitouk IDP Camp, three men and women from Kanseik Village IDP Camp, and three men and women from Nargwe IDP camp respectively. —Pauktaw IPRD/GNLM
