IKBZ compensates people injured in traffic accidents

A ceremony to compensate people injured in traffic accidents was held at Chanmya Shwepyi highway bus terminal in Chanmyathazi Township on 11 May.
Insurance companies sell travel insurance at K300 per unit to highway passengers.  On 6 May, 2015, a bus from Yadana Soe bus line leaving Mandalay collided with an express bus of Myo Hset Thit bus line leaving Kyaukpadaung in front of the Agricultural Mechanization Department on Yangon-Mandalay Highway.
A driver, a bus conductor and two passengers were injured in the incident.
Deputy Manager U Myo Thant Zaw of International KBZ Insurance presented K1,640,000 to cover medical costs for the injured persons.
Officials of the insurance service on 12 May presented K720,000 to U Wunna Lwin for treatment of a fracture to his left leg at Meiktila General
