Individuals with disabilities from 10 townships receive K30,000 aid

According to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement (MoSWRR), individuals with disabilities from ten townships will be supported by K30,000 in cash.
Only registered disabled people from ten townships of Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw are being supported by the Department of Rehabilitation.
The disability registration process and assessment are reportedly conducted in ten designated project areas to enable support in the 2023-2024 FY.
According to the Department of Rehabilitation, the disabled persons from Ahlon, Dagon, Lanmadaw, Botahtaung, and Pazundaung townships of Yangon, Chanmyathazi and Aungmyaythazan of Mandalay, Ottarathiri and Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw can register for the disability registration.
A total of K1,521 million was provided for the registered disabled persons from February 2021 to 5 December 2023. — TWA/TRKM
