Industrial trainees to undertake 3-year internship in Japan


The Directorate of Industries under the Ministry of Industry in cooperation with Myanmar Sankou Co Ltd kicked off the Japanese Language and Mechanical Course No 1 at Mandalay’s No 2 Industrial Training School on Monday.
The school has admitted 60 trainees for the training course as of 30 March. The trainees are to study theory and workshop training, Japanese language, as well as Japan’s lifestyle and culture. Upon completion, they will be assigned to factories and workshops in Japan under a three-year internship period.
Director-General U Thwin Myint Maung of the Directorate of Industries spoke at the opening of the training course, which was also attended by Mandalay Region Minister for Electric Power and Industry U Kyaw Myint, CEO Mr Tsuda Shunji of Myanmar Sankou Co Ltd and entrepreneurs of the Mandalay Industrial Zone.
