Industry Ministry organizes New Year gathering dinner

As a gesture of hailing the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the Ministry of Industry held a new year gathering dinner with its staff members at the ministry on the evening of 31 December.
Those who attended the gathering dinner were Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, Deputy Minister U Yin Maung Nyunt, directors general, managing directors, invited guests Theikpa Kyawswa Dr Myo Thant Tin, Film director Alinkar Kyawswa U Kyi Soe Htun, Alinkar Kyawswa U Sein Hlaing (poet Thura Zaw), Alinkar Kyawswa Daw Cho Cho Tin (writer Ma Sanda) and officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister urged all to serve the interests of the State and the ministry even more. He said that he wishes everyone to have a happy new year.
After that, the invited guests said New Year’s prayers individually and had New Year’s Eve dinner with the staff members. And also staffs and guests entertained the performance of songs and the Union Minister presented New Year gifts to all.
Yesterday morning, the Union Minister enjoyed the lucky-draw programme for the employees of the Union Minister’s office and had the lunch together with the staffs.—MNA/TS
