Inland waterway transport’s vessels deliver relief materials to Mocha-affected townships in Rakhine State

Vessels from the Inland Water Transport’s Rakhine Branch under the Ministry of Transport and Communications transported 3,817.21 tonnes of relief and rehabilitation supplies to Mocha-affected townships in Rakhine State from 23 May to 8 July.
Series of Kelantan vessels from 1 to 6 under the Rakhine Branch of the Inland Water Transport are conveying foodstuffs, supply goods, relief aids, and construction materials to the areas affected by Cyclone Mocha, such as Buthidaung, Rathedaung, Maungtaw, Ponnagyun, Kyauktaw, Paletwa, Pauktaw, Minbya, MraukU, and Myebon.
These vessels delivered a total of 3,817.21 tonnes of supplies on 17 trips to Mocha-affected areas, according to the Rakhine Branch of Inland Water Transport. — Tin Tun (IPRD)/CT
