Innwa Bank commemorated the 71st Independence Day of the nation by opening a new branch in Hmawby Tsp. The Hmawby branch was formally opened yesterday by Yangon Regional Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Aung Soe Moe, Managing Director of Innwa Bank Limited U Aung Ngwe Oo and General Manager of Innwa Bank Limited U Soe Lwin Kyaw with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Thet Pone unveiled the new branch’s signboard electronically.
The Hmawby branch is the 56th branch of Innwa Bank and it is situated in Advanced Housing for Veterans (Kyatphyukan) on Yangon-Pyay road, Hmawby Township, Yangon.
In addition to domestic remittance services, Innwa Bank also provides a 9 per cent interest rate on saving accounts, up to 10 per cent on fixed deposits, depending on the period of saving chosen by its customers, and also offers loans to business in need of capital. —MNA (Translated by Myat Thandar Aung)
