The insurgents attacked the security forces in some townships of regions and states with homemade bombs and small arms.
The security members conducted security measures at Sagar Inn roundabout on Sagar Inn-Paleik road in TadaU Township of Mandalay Region yesterday. Meanwhile, they stopped two motorcycles driven by Zin Maung Maung Kyaw from Myauk Pyin Ward of Aungmyaythazan with another two men (under scrutiny) leading from Sagar Inn to Paleik to inspect. But they ran away. The security forces chased them and they threw a bomb at the security members. One security member got an injury in the bomb blast. The officials arrested Zin Maung Maung Kyaw and seized two China-made grenades, one homemade bomb and one knife from the motorcycle toolbox.
The suspects will face legal actions under the law. — MNA
