Inter-Ministry Volley tourney honouring 76th Anniversary of Independence Day concludes

The final matches of the Inter-Ministry Volley tournament to mark the 76th Anniversary of Independence Day were held at Wunna Theikdi Gymnasium-A in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Among the spectators, SAC members, and officials of the Myanmar Volleyball Federation watched the volleyball events.
In the final match of the women’s volleyball event, the Ministry of Home Affairs team beat the Ministry of Defence team 3-1.
Next, the final match of the men’s volleyball event was held and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs team won over the Ministry of Home Affairs team 3-1.
Next officials presented trophies and medals to the winning teams and outstanding players during the awarding ceremony.
A total of five women’s volleyball teams (U-25), 15 men’s football teams (U-25), 16 men’s volleyball teams, six women’s volleyball teams, 25 men’s Sepak Takraw teams, 18 men’s futsal teams, 23 Myanmar tradtional sport teams, 24 men’s tug of war team and 19 women’s tug of war team participated in the Inter-Ministry Volley tournament to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of the Independence Day. — MNA/KZL
