Mandalay, 2 Feb—The final match of the 7th invitational tennis tournament, organized by Horizon International School, was held at the gymnasium of the school in Chanayethazan Township on 1 February afternoon.
A total of 214 student athletes from basic education schools, universities, international schools, clubs and sports plus education school in Mandalay participated in the tournament.
The tournament was classified as U-12, U-15, U-45, open and amateur men’s and women’s events on 31 January and 1 February.
Patron and chairman of Mandalay Region table tennis subcommittee, the principal of Horizon International School and officials were in attendance.
Deputy Director U Wai Zin of Sports and Physical Education Department, deputy principal of Sports and Physical Education Institute (Mandalay) U Myint Khaing, Principal of Horizon International School Mr Ahmet and officials presented prizes to the winners. Tin Maung (Mandalay)
