ISPE beats YREO 1-0 in week 12 of KBZ Bank Women’s League

The Institute of Sport and Physical Education (ISPE) FC beat YREO FC 1-0 in week 12 of the KBZ Bank Women’s League at Aung San Stadium yesterday evening.
In the first half, the two teams had opportunities to score, but neither team could convert, resulting in a 0-0 halftime score.
In the second half, ISPE broke through at the 60-minute mark when forward Kay Zin Myint scored what turned out to the winning goal. The two teams battled for the balance of the game, but there was no further scoring.
The other two matches of week 12 are Zwekapin FC against Sports and Education FC today at 3:30pm and Gandamar FC against Myawady FC tomorrow at 3:30pm at Padonmar Stadium in Sanchaung Township.
So far, Myawady FC is at the top of the standings after playing nine matches, winning eight and drawing one. Thitsar Arman FC is in second place after playing 10 matches, winning seven and drawing three. Sport and Education follows in third place after playing 10 games with six wins, two draws and two losses.
