Jade and Gems Emporium concludes

The tenth and final day of the 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and Gems Emporium was successfully held yesterday at Mani Yandana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Emporium lasted for 10 days starting from 12 December, during which gems and jade worth 439.35 million euros were sold to merchants.
Out of 935 jade lots, 661 lots worth 76.092 million euros were sold to merchants under an open tender system yesterday.
A total of 4,432 local and international gem merchants visited the emporium yesterday.
In the afternoon, a list of the total amount of jade and gems sold was officially released at the registration office in Mani Yadana Jade Hall, followed by a question-and-answer session between the media and officials.
A total of 32 gem lots worth 767,000 euros and 5,054 jade lots worth 438.583 million euros were sold under the open tender system in the 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and Gems Emporium.
