According to the 15 February statement of the Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo, Japan made job offers for more than 600 Myanmar workers.
The Myanmar Embassy said it received 246 demand letters for over 600 workers between 1 and 15 February and it already screened the facts about the companies that sent demand letters.
The Myanmar Embassy always verifies, through a labour supervision company, whether companies and factories recruiting Myanmar workers are legally established.—TWA/MKKS
