Japan provides more than Japanese Yen 15 billion to Myanmar

The signing ceremony of three exchange of notes between the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Government of Japan took place at the Ministry of Planning and Finance in Nay Pyi Taw at 2 pm yesterday.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Set Aung, Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications U Kyaw Myo, the permanent secretaries, the directors-general, the deputy directors-general, Ms. Tomoko Yoshihiro, Charge d’ Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan and Japanese officials.
At the ceremony, three agreements on providing Japanese Yen 1,000 million for economic and social development plan, Japanese Yen 8,661 million for construction of New Yangon General Hospital and Japanese Yen 6,033 million for development of Mandalay Port were sealed and exchanged by Deputy Minister U Set Aung and Ms. Tomoko Yoshihiro, Charge d’ Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan.
The signing of three exchange of notes will strengthen friendship between Myanmar and Japan, thereby contributing to public healthcare and transportation and communication sector.
