For those who have passed this year’s EPS-TOPIK (Employment Permit System – Test of Proficiency in Korean) and Skills Test (Agriculture and Livestock Industry, Construction Industry and Service Industry Group-2), job applications will be accepted next September, according to the Public Overseas Employment Agency.
Issuance and acceptance of job applications for EPS-TOPIK and Skills Test passers (Agriculture and Livestock Industry, Construction Industry and Service Industry Group-2) will be conducted from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in Panglong Hall, at the corner of Minye Kyawswa and Bo Min Yaung streets, Dagon Myothit (North).
Job application forms will be issued on 2-3 September according to the type of job, and they will be accepted from 4 to 6 September. Forms can be obtained in person by showing passport and examination receipts. The photos in examination application and in job application must be the same person. The health check-up must be done only at designated clinics, and only those who pass the health check-up must submit a job application.
The documents to be submitted along with the job application are a copy of the passport (to show the original), three passport photos (good colour, white background, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), original and a copy of health check-up record, a copy of national scrutiny card, a copy of the booklet of personal bank account opened in any state-owned or private bank as per the name on the passport, a copy of the household register, copies of educational certificates and whether or not the applicant has ever visited the Republic of Korea, and if yes, the type of work and industry he/she worked in and the detailed date of the re-entry into Myanmar.
In addition, the information to be filled in the job application, contact phone numbers and documents are necessary to be correct and if it is filled incorrectly, it is the responsibility of the applicant. When applying for a job, a passport (either PV or PJ) must be valid for at least one year, and if the applicant receives a job offer, the passport must be of the PJ type, the POEA announced.
