K1.85 billion worth of ketamine seized in Pinlaung Township

The police seized K1.85 billion worth of ketamine in Pinlaung Township, according to the police statement.
The anti-narcotics police examined the Forland vehicle driven by Myin Chi Che (aka) Aung Myint heading to Paunglaung from Pinlaung at the Leinli suspension bridge on the Pinlaung-Nay Pyi Taw Road in Pinlaung Township on 9 March and seized 185 kilogrammes of ketamine worth K1.85 billion. According to the inspection, the suspect transported the ketamine to the Myawady border of Kayin State from Shan State (North). The police are investigating to arrest further suspects. — MNA
