Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun answers the question of a reporter.

the State economic promotion funds (K400 billion) including the fund for agriculture are from the COVID-19 fund and not the newly printed banknotes, said Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, leader of the Information Team during the 19th Press Conference of the State Administration Council.
“It is a reserved fund. We use it effectively,” he said denying the false news of some news agencies that the government printed new banknotes to grant funds.
The government set up K400 billion from the funds for the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 aiming to revamp the country’s economy.
Officials also discuss using the remaining COVID-19 fund for other sectors, he added. — TWA/GNLM
