Kinpunchin farms provide family income in Minbu, Magway region

Senegalia rugata farms that are planted along with traditional agricultural farming are another way of generating the family income in Kyauktan village, Minbu (Sagu) Township, Magway Region.
Three months after planting, sprouts can be picked to sell, and with good irrigation and weeding every six days, the shoots can be picked every two days and can be sold all year round.
The plants can be cultivated three feet apart from one another. It is necessary to cut off the lateral branches. Though both fruits and leaves of Senegalia rugata are useful, the branches are cut off to pick the sprouts without letting the fruits bear.
