The State Administration Council has been working hard in the fight against COVID-19 and conducting oxygen-related matters such as import processes in addition to local production to meet the local demands.
The KNLA and PDF terrorists attacked the vehicle, that carried 20 tonnes of liquid oxygen imported from Thailand, at about 2000 metres from Apyin Kwin Kalay Village of Myawady Township while it was leaving for Yangon from Myawady of Kayin State yesterday.
During the attack, driver U Zaya and conductor U Aung Gyi got a serious gunshot wound and the vehicle was damaged. The Thingan Nyi Naung social welfare team took them to Tatmadaw hospital in Thingan Nyi Naung Town.
When the government makes efforts regarding the oxygen in the outbreak of COVID-19, the KNLA and PDF terrorist groups committed such attacks without humanitarian grounds and so the security forces will conduct the necessary measures to eliminate the terrorist attacks. — MNA
