KNLA, PDF terrorists attack Kya-in-Seikkyi with weapons, casualties found

One monk and three innocent civilians were killed and three injured when pro-terrorists from the 6th Brigade of KNLA and PDF terrorists attacked the district police office in Kya-in-Seikkyi, Kayin State yesterday morning with weapons and threw bombs.
The terrorists came from a neighbourhood about 200 metres southeast of the district police headquarters and attacked with heavy weapons and dropped bombs. Due to the attack, one monk from Zaytawun Monastery in that neighbourhood and three innocent people were killed, and three others were injured, and they were sent to the Mawlamyine General Hospital.
The security forces are continuing to carry out the necessary security operations to arrest and punish the terrorists who attacked innocent civilians with weapons and dropped bombs and to ensure peace and stability in the area. —MNA/KZL
