Knowledge-dissemination talks on nuclear technology held in Yangon

The knowledge-dissemination talk on nuclear technology co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation of Russia was held at the Nuclear Technology Information Centre in Hline Township, Yangon, yesterday morning.
Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and officials, Director-General Mr Alexey Likhachev of Rosatom and officials, students from technological universities, computer universities and medical universities attended the ceremony.
After Union Minister Dr Myo Thein Kyaw gave an opening remark, Rosatom Director-General Mr Alexey Likhachev explained the knowhow about nuclear technology. He also replied to queries raised by attendee students.
A press briefing then followed regarding the opening of the Nuclear Technology Information Centre and the Rosatom director-general answered questions put forward by correspondents. —MNA/TS
