Korean Ildong Foodis Co donates goat milk powder to Social Welfare Ministry

Ildong Foodis Co., Ltd from Seoul, the Republic of Korea provided goat milk powder tins to the Child Care Centre opened by the Department of Social Welfare, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday morning
The donation ceremony was made virtually and Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khine and officials, the head of Yangon Region Social Welfare Department, donors from Ildong Foodis Co., Ltd and Sunshine Yangon Co., Ltd attended.
At the ceremony, the Union minister said that the consumption of goat’s milk donated by donors was a good support for the nutritional needs of children.
The goat’s milk powder was donated to the Department of Social Welfare. It will be distributed to child care centres and charitable shelters as soon as possible.
The children cared for are the human resources of the future nation. She thanked all the donors from Ildong Foodis Co., Ltd. and Sunshine Yangon Co., Ltd and officials from the Ministry of Relief and Resettlement who assisted in the ceremony.
Then, Chief Executive Officer Mr Tae Win Kim of the donor Ildong Foodis Co., Ltd thanked and donated 8,880 tins of goat’s milk powder to the head of Yangon Region Social Welfare Department.
After that, the Union minister handed over the certificates to the Department of Social Welfare and the director-general and officials accepted on behalf of the donors. —MNA
