A ceremony to honour Kyaukme’s U-19 men’s basketball team was held at Myittamon Hall in Kyaukme in the northern Shan State on 10 June.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Township Development Supporting Committee U Tin Win urged more local youths to participate in sports events.
The Kyaukme Township U-19 team finished second in this year’s Summer Invitational Basketball Tournament conducted by the Myanmar Basketball Federation.–Myint Aung (KaMa)
