Kyrgyzstan crash Myanmar 8-1 in World Cup Qualifiers in Japan

Myanmar national football team faced a 1-8 shocking loss to Kyrgyzstan yesterday in the World Cup Qualifier match at Yanmar Stadium in Osaka, Japan.
Team Myanmar lined up with goalkeeper Sann Sat Naing, Soe Moe Kyaw, Zaw Ye Tun, Thein Than Win, Hlaing Bo Bo, Than Htet Aung, Captain Maung Maung Lwin, Ye Min Thu, Yan Naing Oo, Lar Din Maw Yar and Htet Phyoe Wai.
On the contrary, Kyrgyzstan’s regular goalkeeper tested positive for the coronavirus, and defender Aizar Akmatov filled in for Kyrgyzstan’s goalie position during the match.
The Myanmar team struggled with just ten players even at 24 minute-mark as Midfielder Yan Naing Oo was sent off to injure another player.
Rustamov scored the winning goals for Kyrgyzstan at 22 minutes, Alkulov at 29 minutes, Musabekov at 34 minutes, Shukurov at 45 minutes, Mirlan Murzaev at 45 minutes, 61 minutes and 78 minutes and Abay at 63 minutes, respectively.
Midfielder Hlaing Bo Bo scored a single goal for Myanmar at 69 minutes.
Wearing black armbands, footballers observed a minute of silence before the match in order to mark the mourning of the sudden death of Myanmar National Team Kit Manager U Pyae Sone Naing in Japan on 8 June.
According to the group stage, the Myanmar team is currently in the fifth position and having very few chances to advance to the next stage.
Myanmar will next play against Tajikistan on 15 June at the same stadium. — GNLM
