The use of land for constructing hotels and guesthouses on beaches in Ayeyawady Region will be verified according to the established procedures. This decision was made during the 2/2024 meeting of the Ayeyawady Region Tourism Committee, held on 19 August.
The verification process will apply not only to Ngwehsaung Beach and Chaungtha Beach in Ayeyawady Region but also to the land use for building construction in Shwethaungyan, Ngwetaung, and Goyangyi beaches. — ASH/MKKS
