Union Ministers view round Liquid Oxygen Plant (Nay Pyi Taw).

The Liquid Oxygen Plant constructed in the compound of Nay Pyi Taw Public Hospital (300-bed) in Tabin Shwehtee ward of Pobbathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw was launched yesterday.
Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Myo Tin, Nay Pyi Taw Council member Colonel Min Naung and other officials inspected the oxygen production processes of the plant. The medical superintendent and officils presented the production processes including the production and distribution rates.
Then, the Union Minister explained the plans and preparations to provide the needed liquid oxygen and oxygen cylinders for the plant.
The steel structure Liquid Oxygen Plant (Nay Pyi Taw) includes two buildings—oxygen filling station, offices and warehouse facility. The plant can produce 10 40-litre cylinders per ten minutes and about 900 40-litre cylinders per day.
The oxygen cylinders will be primarily distributed to the public hospitals and military hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, and the surplus oxygen tanks to regions and states.—MNA
