Local, foreign media personnel reach Sittway on way to Maungtaw

DSC 0717 2 72Local and foreign media personnel arrived in Sittway by Myanmar National Airlines yesterday afternoon to check the ground situation for stability, peace, security and development, as well as observe the receiving of displaced persons in Maungtaw region of Rakhine State.
Some 13 media personnel from MNA, MRTV, MITV, TBS, TV Asahi, CRI, Xinhua, AFP, VOA, BBC, the Mainichi Newspaper and RFA are participating in the trip.
The media personnel will collect news in Maungtaw region of Rakhine State from 24 to 25 April.— Myo Myint
