Lot-drawing result out for Paris Olympic Badminton Championship

The lot-drawing event was successfully held for the Paris Olympic Badminton Championship in which Myanmar’s Badminton star Thet Htar Thuzar competed.
The Badminton Championship of the Olympics will feature men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed events. Thet Htar Thuzar will only compete in the women’s single contest. Thet Htar is placed in Group C with World Class Five Japanese player Yamaguchi and World Class 32 Canadian player Michelle Li.
The group matches will run from 27 to 31 July. One of the best players from each of the 13 groups will advance to the next stage. Thet Htar Thuzar has qualified for the Paris Olympic Badminton Championship after competing in the 23 games of the Badminton World Federation from 1 May 2023 to 28 April 2024.
The Myanmar Badminton star has also successfully competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and is now eligible to compete in the Olympics twice in a row. — Shine Htet Zaw/KZL
