Magwe FC beats Rakhine United 1-0 in friendly match ahead of MNL

Magwe FC won Rakhine United FC 1-0 in the friendly match that was played at Bahan Artificial Turf in Yangon yesterday, according to Rakhine United’s social media.

MNL football clubs were playing friendly matches at present in preparation for MPT Myanmar National League (MNL) 2020, which will restart behind closed doors on 22 August.

Magwe FC will play against Yangon United FC at the Yangon United Sports Complex (YUSC) in Week-10 of MPT MNL 2020 on 22 August, which is the first day of MNL restart.

Rakhine United will compete against Ayeyawady United FC in the Week-10 at the Yangon United Sports Complex (YUSC) on 23 August. Both matches will play at 3:30pm of respective dates.

After Week-9 at present, Magwe FC is in seventh place of standing table earning six points from seven played matches, while Rakhine United is in the fourth place earning 13 points from seven played matches. The first three teams in order at the top of standing tables at present are Hantharwady United with 21 points from eight played matches, Ayeyawady United with 17 points from seven played matches, and Yangon United with 14 points from seven played matches.—Kyaw Khin
