MAI marks 31st Anniversary with 31% flight discount, lucky draws

Myanmar Airways International (MAI) is offering a 31-per-cent discount on domestic and international flight tickets, along with lucky draw programmes, to commemorate its 31st anniversary.
The discounted tickets will be available throughout August, marking the anniversary on 15 August. The promotional travel period extends until the end of December 2024, with tickets available via MAI’s direct sales channels and authorized ticket dealers.
Additionally, there will be a Weekend Exclusive programme. Under this scheme, passengers who purchase tickets through the MAI website www.maiair.com or MAI Xtra application using an MAI UAB Visa card on Saturdays and Sundays will receive discounts. Those buying international flight tickets with the MAI UABI promo code will enjoy a five per cent discount, while those purchasing domestic tickets with the MAI UABD promo code will receive a ten per cent discount.
Passengers who buy tickets in person at the MAI Yangon headquarters can participate in a lucky draw to win free flight tickets to destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kolkata, and Chiang Mai, as well as many other prizes.
Currently, MAI operates in 36 cities, including locations in Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, India, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The airline plans to expand its strategic network to include 41 domestic and international destinations, with new routes to Doha, Qatar, and Dhaka, Bangladesh. — TWA/MKKS
