Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has announced that new flights from Yangon and Mandalay to Don Mueang airport in Bangkok, Thailand will be operated five days a week from 15 June.
Weekly flights from Yangon to Chennai, India (MAA) commenced on 6 May. Additionally, there has been an increase in the number of flights to Dubai (DXB) and Incheon (ICN), while flights to Singapore (SIN) have also been raised.
There will be weekly flights from Yangon and Mandalay to Don Mueang (DM) in Bangkok, Thailand starting from 15 June. The flights are scheduled to operate five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight No 8M360 will depart from Yangon Airport at 9:40 am MST and arrive at Don Mueang Airport at 11:30 am TST. Flight No 8M361 will depart from Don Mueang at 12:20 pm TST and arrive in Mandalay at 3:40 pm MST.
Flight No 8M362 will depart from Mandalay at 2:50 pm MST and arrive at Don Mueang at 5:10 pm TST, while Flight No 8M363 will depart from Don Mueang at 6:10 pm TST and arrive back in Yangon at 7 am MST, respectively.
In addition to expanding new routes, the number of flights to the three most popular destinations in the current flight network, namely Singapore, Thailand, and Incheon in Seoul, will be increased in the coming months. —TWA/KZW
