Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, also Commander-in-Chief (Army), Vice-Senior General Soe Win has accepted an honorary decoration conferred by the King of Malaysia, sources said.
The ceremony took place at National Palace in Kuala Lumpur on 4 December and was attended by Malaysia’s King Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and his queen, Malaysia’s Commander-in-Chief General Tan Sri Dato Sri Zulkifeili Bin Mohd Zin and wife, and high-ranking military officers.
The decoration, called Honorary Malaysian Armed Forces Order For Valour (First Degree) Gallant Commander of Malaysian Armed Forces was conferred on Vice-Senior General Soe Win by the Malaysian King for his excellent performance of strengthening friendly ties between the two armies.
