The malicious media outlets are orchestrating the spread of fake news on social media platforms, alleging that Tatmadaw’s air bombardment resulted in the destruction of over three hundred shops at Myoma Market in Mongmeik on 19 January.
The actual incident unfolded when KIA insurgents and PDF terrorists initiated attacks on the security forces camps responsible for maintaining local security and stability in Mongmeik. They deployed heavy weapons and indiscriminately fired, causing explosions at Myoma Market around 7 pm on 19 January.
These malicious media outlets are attempting to obscure the actions of the terrorists by intentionally disseminating misinformation on social media platforms and misguiding the public regarding the Tatmadaw. — MNA/TKO
