Mandalay commodity depot closed amid COVID resurgence


Mandalay commodity depot has been suspended in order to stop the spread of COVID-19 starting from 21 September. “Around 200-300 people are daily into and out of the commodity depot. The commodity depot will be closed to be able to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 through the depot,” said an official from the Mandalay commodity depot. “The closing of the depot may affect the sale of the goods. However, it will not be stopped, and it may only be difficult for sellers,” he added.
The Mandalay commodity depot will be closed temporarily from 21 September to 1 October. The opening date of the commodity depot will be announced. Those who wish to sell their products can enter the Viber group as a member to sell their products.
