Mandalay-PyinOoLwin service sees strong demand

The company uses BYD E-2 (2023) electric vehicles to operate the Mandalay-PyinOoLwin route twice a day for its large number of passengers.

Power-27 Business Group Co Ltd, which has been operating the ‘Mingalaba’ highway transport line between Mandalay and PyinOoLwin townships with 15 electric vehicles daily since October 2023, has increased its fleet to 19 cars, according to the company.
The company uses BYD E-2 (2023) electric vehicles to operate the Mandalay-PyinOoLwin route twice a day for its large number of passengers.
“Passengers need to make a reservation one day in advance. For a trip from Mandalay to PyinOo- Lwin, the fare is K15,000, and passengers will be picked up at their homes. They can access the service at the following locations: 31st Street between 79th Street and 80th Street in Mandalay City, on the west side of the Mandalay Railway Station, and near the Aung Thamadi goldsmith shop on the Mandalay-Lashio Road in PyinOoLwin Township,” said an official from the company.
The company, which operates its station at No 5/6 on the Mandalay-Lashio Road in PyinOoLwin, also aims to provide travellers with safe service at an affordable fare. — TWA/TH
