Mark fullmoon day of Taboung as a great day in Buddhism

The Taboung is the 12th month of its kind in Myanmar. Myanmar people enjoy the festivities in the month of Taboung, especially on the fullmoon day of Taboung when they hold the religious ceremonies and donations as part of doing meritorious deeds.
The significant events happened in the month of Taboung when the weather is fine. In the past, the Lord Buddha Gautama resided at Veluwunna Monastery in Rajgir located in the Bihar State of India. At that time, King Suddhodana ordered an MP to invite the Lord Buddha, son of the king to his city.
The MP accompanied by 1,000 followers went to the Lord Buddha and supplicated the invitation of the king for returning to Kapilavatthu, now called Taulihawa located in Nepal. Taulihawa is a municipal city of Nepal, close to the Uttar Pradesh State of India.
Amazingly, nine MPs together with 1,000 followers each were initiated into ordination under the Buddhist order. They all ignored the assignment of King Suddhodana to invite the Lord Buddha to Kapilavatthu due to satisfaction over the preaching of the Lord Buddha.
Finally, MP Kaludayi, the 10th MP, was assigned to the Lord Buddha. He supplicated the Lord Buddha about the vicinities of the route to the Kapilavatthu city composed in 60 verses in Pali. As it was an opportune time, the Lord Buddha returned to Kapilavatthu City on the full moon day of Taboung.
Various great events in the Buddhism such as preaching Maha Dhammapala Sutta happened in the month of Taboung. The father king attained the Enlightenment. His mother-in-law Gotami realized the Sotapatti Magga in the Desana of the Lord Buddha. Rahula, the son of the Buddha in His human life, became a novice. One thousand princes were ordained in the month. The Lord Buddha conferred the greatest title of Kulappasada as persuading the royal families into admiring to the Lord Buddha on MP Kaludayi.

Indeed, the month of Taboung has been bearing amazingly historical events to the society of Buddhists. Among the days of Taboung, the full moon day is the most significant in coinciding with important events of Buddhism in the past, the present and the future forever.
