According to the Department of Myanmar Examinations, the matriculation examination pass certificates for 2024 are planned to be issued with security upgrades.
Out of more than 160,000 students who set for the matriculation examination in the old academic system in 2023, the pass rate of those students accounted for 67.87 per cent.
Starting from the 2023-2024 academic year, the new system of Grade-12 is being introduced, and the Ministry of Education has announced that those who did not take the old system matriculation examination and those who failed will be allowed to take the new system Grade-12 matriculation examination to be held in 2024 as an external candidates.
Matriculation examination pass certificates for 2023 are being issued by branches of the Department of Myanmar Examinations in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon from 10 July. — TWA/KZL
